Summers along the water are a true destination for people of all ages. The  area has seen tremendous renovation in recent years and now hosts weekly concerts, food trucks throughout the summer, an Independence Day celebration and more.  In the winter, you can also find plenty of outdoor activities like ice skating and even ice-biking!  At the nearby  complex, you can find Roller Derby and curling, a popular Canadian winter sport.

Niagara Falls is the most notable natural wonder in New York State, and is less than a half-hour's drive from Buffalo.  Both sides of the border offer amazing views and plenty of activities like the Maid of the Mist boat ride and the Journey Under the Falls hike.

The area offers plenty of outstanding food, including area classics like Beef on Weck and Buffalo Wings, but also tons of trendy eateries and culinary delights. Other local favorites include , ,  and  grocery stores.
