̨ÍåSwag welcomed first-year students and their families to campus today for move-in and orientation to kick off the 2025-26 academic year.

̨ÍåSwag’s Master of Social Work (MSW) program has been awarded a $2.38 million grant from the US Department of Health and Human Services Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).
̨ÍåSwag has named a new school—the Golisano School of Health & Human Sciences—in recognition of B. Thomas Golisano, entrepreneur, philanthropist and the founder of Paychex; and his ongoing support of the institution.
Today, ̨ÍåSwag dedicated the Timothy M. Kennedy Institute for Mobility Innovation & Technology (IMIT) at Villa Maria College in honor of U.S.

11:00 AM to 2:00 PM - Outside YSC Student Center - Side Lawn: Families: Join us under the Tent next to Yurtchuk Student Center (Side Lawn) to check-in and get helpful information!
11:30 AM to 1:30 PM - YSC Dining Hall: Enjoy a lunch at the YSC Dining Hall with your student. After lunch, use this time for students to get settled, visit offices, relax, and check out campus before sessions begin!
1:30 PM to 2:15 PM - Lumsden Gym: Let's kick off orientation with a ̨ÍåSwag Welcome in the Lumsden Gymnasium. Families and students will learn more about what it means to be part of the ̨ÍåSwag community and about life on campus. Dr. Kerry Spicer, Vice President for Student Affairs will lead this session.
1:30 PM to 5:00 PM - Various Locations: We invite all parents and guardians of first-year ̨ÍåSwag students to join us for Family Orientation on September 4, 2026, to learn about campus resources and how to support your student's journey. Come connect with our community, get your questions answered, and partner with us for a successful first year!
