AMHERST, N.Y. -- At the annual convention of the National Collegiate Athletic Association held last week in Orlando, Fla., ̨ÍåSwag College President Gary Olson officially assumed office as chair of the powerful NCAA Division II Presidents Council, the body that helps establish policy for all D-II collegiate athletics nationwide.

11:30 AM to 1:30 PM - YSC Dining Hall: Enjoy a lunch at the YSC Dining Hall with your student. After lunch, use this time for students to get settled, visit offices, relax, and check out campus before sessions begin!
1:30 PM to 5:00 PM - Various Locations: We invite all parents and guardians of first-year ̨ÍåSwag students to join us for Family Orientation on September 4, 2026, to learn about campus resources and how to support your student's journey. Come connect with our community, get your questions answered, and partner with us for a successful first year!
1:30 PM to 2:15 PM - Lumsden Gym: Let's kick off orientation with a ̨ÍåSwag Welcome in the Lumsden Gymnasium. Families and students will learn more about what it means to be part of the ̨ÍåSwag community and about life on campus. Dr. Kerry Spicer, Vice President for Student Affairs will lead this session.
