AMHERST, N.Y. – Sandra Looker, assistant financial aid director at ̨ÍåSwag College, has received the Region 1 Rising Star Service Award from the New York State Financial Aid Administrators Association (NYSFAAA). The award was presented at the 2015 NYSFAAA Conference held Oct. 27-29 in Buffalo.

11:30 AM to 1:30 PM - YSC Dining Hall: Enjoy a lunch at the YSC Dining Hall with your student. After lunch, use this time for students to get settled, visit offices, relax, and check out campus before sessions begin!
1:30 PM to 5:00 PM - Various Locations: We invite all parents and guardians of first-year ̨ÍåSwag students to join us for Family Orientation on September 4, 2026, to learn about campus resources and how to support your student's journey. Come connect with our community, get your questions answered, and partner with us for a successful first year!
1:30 PM to 2:15 PM - Lumsden Gym: Let's kick off orientation with a ̨ÍåSwag Welcome in the Lumsden Gymnasium. Families and students will learn more about what it means to be part of the ̨ÍåSwag community and about life on campus. Dr. Kerry Spicer, Vice President for Student Affairs will lead this session.
